REFLECTIONS: The American Funeral
A traveling museum is coming to New Castle Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Monday (Memorial Day), May 31, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The exhibit will also be shown in the Memorial Day Parade before it is open on Monday. Reflections showcases America's rich history of funeral customs with unique exhibits remembering our Civil Rights Leaders, Ancestors, Presidents, Heros and Celebrities. Learn how the past relates to the present and the future of Funeral Service in our society. Visit www.ReflectionsAFT.com for more information. The museum will be located at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle and is free and open to the public. There will be complimentary hot dogs, chips, drinks, and Tropical Shaved Ice served.

Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, New Castle and Knightstown Chapels, would like to invite your family to our annual Palm Sunday Balloon Release. Our Balloon Release is open to all families regardless if you were served by Hinsey-Brown. The ceremony is a part of our Aftercare program which is a community service of our funeral home.
Each person will be given a balloon on which to write the name of their loved one(s) and a personal message. We will also have an Eastern Redbud seedling to plant in memory of your loved one. This is another opportunity for us to share and heal together. Refreshment will be served.
