Ann J. McLaughlin

Ann J. McLaughlin, 86, of New Castle passed away Friday May 15, 2020, at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 17, 1933 in Campbellsville Kentucky, a daughter of the late Charles E. Huckaby and Mattie W. (Catron) Gray.
Ann spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for her family. She loved collecting dolls and in earlier years, flea marketing with her husband, William. Ann was a member of Whittier Lane Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Ruth (Don) Guffey of New Castle, Pam Vetor of Daleville, and Janet Wagner of Muncie; grandchildren, Jason (Teresa) Loveless of McCordsville, Amy (Bob) Stalvey of Avon, Bill Guffey (Dee Dee Moran) of New Castle, and Mark Douthitt of Muncie; great grandchildren, Kaylee Loveless, Caroline, Savannah and Madison Stalvey, Lilly and Mali Guffey, Wesli Welch, and Brayden Douthitt.
In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her husband, William McLaughlin; granddaughter, Lorie Welch; and five brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation for the care Ann received while a resident.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Please be prepared to wait as we are limited to 25 guests at a time for the visitation. The family requests that a mask be worn if available and social distancing practiced. Memorial contributions may be made to ARF, 1209 W. Riggin Rd. Muncie, IN 47303.
