Brian K. Sloan, 53, of Clarksville, Tennessee and formerly of Henry County, Indiana passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Tennova Hospital in Clarksville. He was born March 11, 1967 in Montgomery, Alabama to Larry and Faye (Beaty) Sloan.
He was a 1987 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. Brian was a lifelong musician and had a deep passion for playing the drums and guitar. He was currently employed at Gary Matthews Automotive as a Quality Control Supervisor and was a skilled vehicle mechanic.
He is survived by his fiancé, Tonja Clan; children, Amanda Sloan (fiancé, Zach Midkiff), Clinton Sloan; parents, Larry and Faye Sloan; siblings, Tammy (Luke) Goodpaster, Jody (Charlotte) Sloan, David Sloan; grandchildren, Ryilynn Midkiff and a grandson due in November; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kay and Ida “Billie” Sloan; maternal grandparents, Haskel and Ruby Beaty.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with his brother, Pastor David Sloan, officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brian K.
