Charles Eugene Niles Jr.

Charles Eugene Niles, Jr. died peacefully at home on December 9, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Sue Niles; children, Karen (Niles) Petty, Linda (Charles) Henry, Lori (Chad Leisey) Clark, Maryann (Darrin) Ailes, sister, Becky Niles and brother Paul (Rosemary) Niles of New Castle, IN; along with grandchildren and great children, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida Niles, brothers, Logan (2014), Grover (1934), and Mark (1944) Niles.

In 1954 Charles joined the United State Marine Corp. and was honorably discharged. Married to Sue for 62 years he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. For 68 years Charles was a proud member of the UAW 863 working for 34 years at the Ford Motor Plant in Sharonville, OH and Chrysler in New Castle, IN prior. Charles was a member in good standing to the Benjamin Franklin Lodge 719 in Hamilton, OH. He volunteered his time for the Masonic Lodge, United Way, Little League Baseball, serving as District Administrator for many years. Charles was inducted into the Butler County Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. He started the Educate Our Youth Program in 2016 and gave out over 20,000 water bottles to local schools and youth programs in Butler and Hamilton counties in honor of his son Mike Niles.

His visitation will be at Brown Dawson and Flick, 1350 Millville Avenue Hamilton, Ohio on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service 6:00 p.m..
