Connie S. Garner, of New Castle, passed away Saturday morning, October 22, 2016 following an extended illness.
Connie attended New Castle Schools. She always enjoyed working alongside her brother, Wayne, when she lived in Rushville. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in New Castle and the American Legion Post #137, New Castle. An Indianapolis Colts fan, what Connie enjoyed most in life was spending time with her family and friends, and sitting around the pool or on the beach.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Paige (Doug) Fairchild of New Castle; two grandsons, Brent (Kristen) Fairchild, and Brice Fairchild, both of New Castle; her mother, Maxine (Paul) Copeland of New Castle, a nephew, Broc White of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tom White, and her brother, Wayne White.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at South Mound Cemetery, Section 10, with Rev. Woody Kreuzinger officiating. Burial will follow. Memorial contributions may be given to the Toys-For-Tots Program, c/o Salvation Army, 2500 Washington Street, New Castle, IN 47362.
