In Loving Memory of Constance "Connie" Jennings Titak

Constance "Connie" Jennings Titak, 69, of Carmel, IN, gracefully departed this world on December 5, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, after bravely battling Lewy Body Dementia.

Born on March 26, 1954, to the effervescent Gloria and the steadfast Richard "Dick" Jennings in New Castle, IN, Connie inherited her mother's social spirit and her father's loyalty and patience. These qualities shaped her into the exceptional woman we knew and loved.

After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in Early Childhood Development, Connie embarked on a journey that led her through various careers. Eventually, choosing the noble path of becoming a dedicated stay-at-home mom and volunteer.

Connie was a beacon of positivity, illuminating the lives of those around her. Her love for life extended to people, animals, and every endeavor she pursued. A committed member of numerous organizations, including The Carmel Arts Council, The Zoo Guild, and Carmel Clay School PTO, Connie dedicated herself wholeheartedly to making a difference in her community.

Beyond her philanthropic endeavors, Connie reveled in the simple joys of playing tennis, hosting gatherings, playing card games and adorning her home with the festive spirit of Christmas from October through December. Her laughter, infectious and heartfelt, left a lasting impression, even in the face of illness.

Survived by her husband, James Titak of Carmel, IN, Connie leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through her children: Regina Kane (Ben), Richard Parker (Jennifer), Christina Kennedy (Adam), and Jamie Titak (Jesus). Her affection extended to her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply: Riley and Teagan Kane, Cole and Chloe Parker, Huxley, Emerson, and Woodrow Kennedy. Connie's warm embrace also touched the hearts of other family members and numerous friends who were blessed by her kindness and spirit.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Gloria and Richard, as well as her grandson Zach Kane, whom she will embrace at heaven’s gates, and other cherished friends and family members. While she has bid farewell to this world, Connie's radiant light persists through the indelible memories she crafted and the love she generously shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she find eternal serenity and rest in peace.
