Darla Mae Warner

Darla Mae Warner, 68, of New Castle, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Henry County Hospital. She was born September 13, 1946 in New Castle the daughter of the late Cleo and Norma (Bailey) Anderson.

Darla was very family oriented. She loved spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She just recently was able to spend time with her great grandchildren. She also liked to attend the Eagles with her mother. She enjoyed crocheting, reality TV, and loved her dog, Taffy.

She is survived by one daughter, Robin Warner (fiancé, Wyatt Erb) of New Castle; grandchildren, Nicholas Master (fiancé, Sarah Poore) of New Castle, Tyler Dishman (companion, Phillip Roberts) of New Castle, Julie Jones (fiancé, Jeffrey Pass) of Indianapolis, Meghan (Jason) Curtis of New Castle; great grandchildren, Willow Shay Master and Kaysen James Curtis; a brother, Michael (Charlotte) Anderson of New Castle; nieces, Hope (Brian) Gwinn of New Castle and Michelle (Dustin) Patton of New Castle; nephew, Jan Michael (Brittany) Anderson of New Castle; several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Brown; brother, Terry G. Anderson; son-in-law, Jimmy Brown; Robin’s father, Raymond Warner; two half brothers, Cleo Anderson Jr. and Keith Anderson.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, September 4, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jeff Green officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-2 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Darla Mae Warner Memorial Fund c/o Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service 3406 S.
