Deborah S. Wiley, 62, of New Castle passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 20, 1953 in New Castle to John Jr. and Patsy (Harlan) Bach.
Debi retired in 2009 from BMG Columbia House after 21 years of service. She and her late husband owned and operated Stan Wiley Construction for many years. Debi became a part of the Rose Bowl family in 2011. She loved being around people, playing cards with her family, BINGO and going on drives to nowhere. She especially loved being with her family.
Before Stan passed away in 2012, Debi’s passion was riding on the back of his Harley Davidson. They went on many trips together including riding to California.
Debi is survived by her father, John Bach Jr.; daughter, Melissa Murphy (Kyle Flynn) of New Castle; grandsons, Tyler and Dylan Blevins of New Castle and Bentley Welch of Spiceland; a sister, Sharon (Wayne) Weddle of New Castle; sisters in law, Virgie and Rhonda Bach-Razor, Louise Craig, Joyce Stamp, Juanita (Leroy) Orcutt, Mary Lee (Gene) Guffey, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Wiley; a son, Jonathan E. Wiley; brothers, Rick and Jerry Bach and many others that she dearly loved from her and Stan’s family.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Bob Case officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
