Elizabeth "Libby" Taylor

Elizabeth “Libby” Taylor, 70, of Greenfield formerly of New Castle passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her home. She was born March 4, 1954 in New Castle to the late James and Martha Connerly.

Libby loved being with her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cats. She had a passion for reading, and enjoyed coloring, solitaire, music, card games. Elizabeth was the most caring and giving person, she was always willing to help others and never passed judgment on others because she knew how hard life could be. She enjoyed her life and having fun. Elizabeth loved going to the ocean and the beach in Florida, returning to St. Joseph, MI to visit and spending time at the park.

She is survived by her son, David (Jamie) Blevins; daughter, Vashti Blevins; grandchildren, Dakson Blevins, Tianna Holder and Christian Blevins; sister, Mary Young; nephew, Chris Young and a niece, Michele Young

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Taylor.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. prior to the service. You may express condolences or share a memory of Elizabeth at www.hinsey-brown.com .
