Evelyn Gulley

Evelyn (Eulett) Gulley, 84 of Knightstown, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016. She was born August 27, 1931 in Harris, KY a daughter of the late Jacob Eulett & Essie (Killen) Eulett-Howard and wife of the late John Lovel Gulley. She was a loving mother and homemaker.

She is survived by a sister, Ruth (Marvin James) Couch; five daughters, Christine (Randall) Overman, Judy Kay Gulley, Wanda Faye Pope, Leanna (Barry) Gurley and Ruth Ann Martin; four sons, Richard Allen Gulley, Sr., Gary Wayne (Jayne) Gulley, Ronnie Dean Gulley and Plummer Gerome Gulley; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Dallas, Edgar Aaron, Wornia Chestel, Elwood, Junior Ray Eulett and infant brothers, Harlan, Harry and Clayton Eulett; a son, Harold Lloyd Gulley; an infant son, John Allen Gulley; a granddaughter, Viola Blanch Gulley and daughter-in-law, Connie “Page” Gulley.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Matt Daffron officiating. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday.
