Helen Lois Morris, 97, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 10, 1923 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Bessie (Dermond) Wadman.
She retired from Allen’s Young Fashion in New Castle and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of over 73 years, Raymond Paul Morris of New Castle; a daughter, Shelby Young of New Castle; grandchildren, Brad Evans, Chelsea Young and Kobi Young.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Guy Morris, and a daughter, Deborah Evans Barttrum.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the visitation and services will be private. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. You may share a condolence or memory of Helen at www.hinsey-brown.com .
