James "J.B." Bilbrey
March 14, 1950 — June 12, 2018
James “J.B.” Bilbrey, 68, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in his home. He was born March 14, 1950 in Byrdstown, TN to the late Hansford and Nova (Evans) Bilbrey.
He retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service. J.B. enjoyed camping, fishing, yard work, working on cars, being outside and his dog, Jake. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Bilbrey, daughters, Shirley Marlow-Bilbrey and Kristie Bilbrey all of New Castle; grandsons, Bradley Marlow, Devin Marlow and Jeffrey Marlow; special nephews, Kenny and Kelly Bilbrey and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death his son, James Bud Bilbrey Jr., siblings, Donald Bilbrey, Lucille Daniels, Douglas Bilbrey, Cletus Bilbrey and Kenneth Bilbrey.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, June 15th at the funeral home. You may express condolences or share a memory of J.B. at www.hinsey-brown.com .
