Jason Eugene Haynes, 28, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 6, 2011, at his residence. He was born July 7, 1982, in New Castle, Ind., to Dennis and Pat (Jenkins) Haynes.
He was a 2000 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. Jason was faithfully employed at his father's business, Eastside Auto Sales and Service, where they restored cars. He has played the guitar for more than 15 years. Jason had such a passion for playing, he passed on that love to so many. Jason's love made an impact on his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by so many.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his parents, Dennis and Pat Haynes of Pendleton; a brother, Trent (wife, Stephanie) Haynes of Markleville; two nieces, Emma and Mia Haynes both of Markleville; grandparents, Gerri (husband, Garth) Haynes-Reynolds of Pendleton and Edith Hamby-Daniel of Wartburg, Tenn.; many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Gene Haynes, SV Hamby, and Clarence Jenkins; great grandparents, Laurel and Rosemary Haynes and Oral and Eliza Witham.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Revs. Gene Bennett and David Perry officiating. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Cancer Society, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
