Keith E. Adams

February 4, 1930 — January 12, 2013

Keith E. Adams, 82, received his ultimate healing after his long battle with Alzheimers on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Indianapolis. His passing was peaceful as he left the arms of his loving family and entered directly into the arms of his heavenly father. He was born February 4, 1930 in New Castle, a son of the late Forrest R. and Josie (Covalt) Adams.

A long time New Castle resident until moving to Youngsville, Louisiana in 1981, he followed in his father’s footsteps, who was a master electrician, working for the N.Y.C. Railroad, I.B.E.W. 855 of Muncie, Building Commissioner for the City of New Castle, and was a self employed electrician. After moving to Louisiana, he worked for Seco Industries as an electrical trouble shooter on offshore platforms. He retired from the city of Lafayette, LA as Building Superintendent after 13 years of service. He was owner and operator of LaNeuville Driving Range in Youngsville, LA for 20 years before closing due to poor health.

He was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church in New Castle and the First Baptist Church of Youngsville, LA. A member of the Masonic Lodge, he was a 32nd degree Mason. He loved his family. He was a simple man who loved to work and was a fan of NASCAR. He always displayed a warm and friendly smile and never met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and will be deeply missed.
