Kimberly L. “Kim” (Gray) Sheean, 67, a resident of Avon passed away Wednesday December 27, 2023 at IU Methodist Hospital. She was born November 17, 1956 in Bloomington to the late Louis and Phyllis (Thacker) Gray.
Kim retired from St. Vincent Hospital as a registered nurse after 21 years of service. She had previously worked as a security guard for Bear Force in Indianapolis. Kim enjoyed motorcycle riding, gardening, sewing and reading. She also loved animals, listening to music, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years: Joseph Sheean; four children: Joseph David Sheean of Johnson County, Regina Kay (Jeffrey) Riggins of Greenwood, Mollie Bea (Josh) Woodard of Roseburg, Oregon and Katie Rose Sheean of Zionsville; ten grandchildren: Karissa Riggins, Brittany Jackson, Michael Riggins, Hope (Ryan) Panik, Brooke (Juan) Anastacio, Paige Sheean, Aniston Sheean, Logan Pearl, Leiton Hooper, and Mason Hooper; three great-grandchildren: Axell Anastacio, Delilah Anastacio, Adelyn Panik; a sister: Vickie (Ben) Hansel of Bloomfield; several nieces and nephews and a granddog Pippin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Regeania Sue Jordan and a brother: Lonnie Gray.
