Linda A. McMahan

Linda A. McMahan, 65, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Community Hospital East. She was born May 12, 1953 in Rushville the daughter of the late Leonard and Betty Jo (Revolt) Sullivan.

Linda was town clerk for Carthage for the past 11 years. She had previously worked at Winters CPA for 25 years and also at Eastern Hancock School System. She was a member of Carthage Friends Church. Linda enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking rides in the country. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by a son, Scott (Heather) Bennett of Shirley; daughter, Elizabeth (Shaun) Turner of Shelbyville; five grandchildren, Mercedes Turner, Marissa Hilton, Olivia Bennett, Carter Turner and Madison Turner; two great grandchildren, Grayson Day and Khaleesi Caufield; a brother, Bob (Cheryl) Sullivan of Arlington; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 AM - 2 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
