Loretta M. Olmstead, 84, of Warren, Michigan passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in New Castle. She was born October 5, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ivor and Grace (Johns) Robb.

Loretta retired from Benton Harbor, Michigan AAA, where she was a branch manager in 2000 after 40 years of service. After retirement, she then worked at Spectrum Services in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Loretta was a very active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Stevensville, Michigan where she was a member of both the choir and ladies guild. She also belonged to the Sweet Adeline's Ladies Barbershop Singing Group. An avid bowler, she bowled on a league. Loretta loved to travel, sing, dance, play cards and visit the casino. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Swanson (Myran Crabtree) of New Castle and Carol (Charlie) Wall of Sault St. Marie, Michigan; grandchildren, Derek (Lina) Mecham of New Castle, Lisa (Kris) Stewart of Centerline, Michigan, four great grandchildren, Isaiah, Jade, Alexis and Kain Mecham; four additional grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; bonus daughter, Kathy (Troy) McBride of Brimley, Michigan; very special friend, Dewayne Greening of St Joseph, Michigan; sister, Ivora Maisano of Warren, Michigan; brother, Jay (Lynn) Robb of Sterling Heights, Michigan; special cousins, Jane "Cookie" White, Martha Bennett, Jimmy Holmes, David Holmes and Ron Robb; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Roberta Feldmann.

A private gathering for the family will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, Indiana.
