Loretta Ann Snyder

Loretta Ann (Bowman) Snyder, age 70 of Cambridge City, Indiana, entered into the presence of her beloved Lord Jesus Christ on February 20, 2017 at her home. She was born June 22, 1946 in Wayne County, Indiana to the late Charles R. and Mary (Bistram) Bowman.

She was a retired LPN from Cambridge City Family Medicine, and had previously been employed at Friends Fellowship Community in Richmond. Loretta was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church, both in Richmond and New Castle. She was actively involved in her church community and regularly delivered meals to those in need. Loretta enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and strongly valued family times together. She adored her dog, Sadie.

Survivors include her daughter, Kara (Jeffrey) Jacobs of Lisle, IL; son, Matthew (April) Snyder of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren, Luke and Abby Jacobs, Mason, Claire, and Ruby Snyder; a sister, Marlene (Mac) Reedy of Modoc, IN; and a niece Cailin Reedy of Modoc.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Gordon D. Snyder.

Visitation will be held from 3–5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Jerry Ingalls officiating.
