Maria Ayala, 64, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospice. She was born December 12, 1952 in Hidalgo, TX to the late Jose and Maria (Sipriana) Guerrero.
Maria was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, shopping, traveling and loved spending time with family. She was a former catholic, until she became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Maria was a very caring woman with an open door policy. She loved feeding others and was very generous.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus Ayala Jr. of New Castle, daughter, Lori Manderson of North Dakota, son, Ruban Jason “RJ” (Zephra Kay) Ayala of Texas, grandchildren, Jesse Morgan (Karen) Manderson, Ashley Manderson, Nieko Manderson, Xavier Ayala, Aaliyah Ayala, Madison Ayala, Isabella Ayala and Layla Ayala, two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Manderson and Riley Manderson, siblings, Bea Loyla of San Antonio, TX, Sandy (Eusbion) Munoz of Wall Lake, MI, Maria D. Guerrero of New Castle, Gloria (Michael) Davis of New Castle, Alicia (Sabel) Ledesma of Taylor, MI, Anita Emmons of New Castle, Joe (Loretta) Guerrero of Pontiac, IL, Rene (Kay) Guerrero of Bedford, SC, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jess Ayala.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Summit Cemetery.
