Mariellen Tipton, 70, of Knightstown passed away Wednesday December 21, 2022. She was born February 23, 1952 to Tracy Helms and Jutta Fay McDonald.
She was a 1970 graduate of Knightstown High school. Mariellen retired from Defense Finance Accounting Service after 15 years. She was a loving, caring and supporting mother and grandmother.
Mariellen was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
Mariellen is survived by her husband, Matt Tipton; daughter, Jenni (Josh) Wells; son Jebediah Tipton; brothers, Tim (Carol) Helms, Joe (Sheila) McDonald, Stephen (Tammy) Denney and Bruce McDonald; sister Becky (Lowell) Dembo.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jutta Fay McDonald and step father, Charles McDonald.
A Celebration of Life for Mariellen will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service New Castle location. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of service. You may express condolences or share a memory of Mariellen at www.hinsey-brown.com .
