Phillip Jayson Conner

Phillip Jayson Conner, age 62, of New Castle passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born September 27, 1960, in New Castle, Indiana, the son of the late Dalton and Della (McCoy) Conner.

Phillip was a 1979 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He had previously been employed with Metaldyne. Phillip enjoyed fishing shooting guns and had a passion for art.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Wise) Conner, whom he married in 2003; four daughters, Krista Dubinger, Leah Wiggins, Hannah Chesher, and Kylie White; one son, Thomas K. Wiggins; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and one sister, Jerrie Hinson.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by a son, Chad Conner; two brothers, Michael Conner and Larry Laymance; one sister, Patricia Laymance.

Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery.
