Phillip "Larry" Roberts

Phillip “Larry” Roberts, 76, of New Castle, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Henry Community Health. He was born December 11, 1942 in New Castle a son of John and Dorothy Snyder.
Larry retired from EDS (formerly Delco) Corporation in 2006 after 20 years of service. He volunteered with Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity. Larry enjoyed camping and boating at Lake Monroe. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved science fiction movies and books, classical music, The Eagles and was a Chicago Cubs fan.
He is survived by children: Randy (Jennifer) Roberts of Terre Haute and Anthony (Jody) Roberts of New Castle; grandchildren Rachel Valler, Lindsey (Brad) Denney, Phillip-Michael Roberts all of New Castle, Kaitlyn Roberts of Chesterfield, Patrick Roberts of New Castle and Jacsen Roberts of Anderson; great grandchildren, Gabe, Noah, Benjamin Cauthern all of New Castle, Layna Roberts of Chesterfield; several siblings, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judith A Roberts, two grandsons, Jordan and Anthony Roberts.
Memorial services will be at 5:00 PM Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Ben French officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of service. Condolences and memories of Larry may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
