Rickie Allen Hill

Rickie Allen Hill, 65, of New Castle passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Marion Veterans Hospital following a battle with cancer. He was born April 18, 1958 in Burnside, Kentucky to the late James C. and Betty Lou (Neely) Hill.
Rickie was a graduate of Walter P. Chrysler High School then joined the Marine Corp from 1976 to 1979. He worked in construction most of his life mainly as a pipe fitter and iron worker. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Randy Hill (Brenda Lowe), Ronnie Hill, Brenda (Bud) Kennedy, Linda (Ron) Moffitt and Glenna Lee; a niece, Amanda Hill, nephews, Tyler Hill, J. J. Pitman, Justin Moffitt, Josh Kennedy and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at South Mound Cemetery, Legion Hill. Military honors will be conducted by contingents from the New Castle American Legion, VFW and U.S. Marine Corp. You may express condolences or share a memory of Rickie at www.hinsey-brown.com .
