Robert R. Bradshaw Jr., 50, of Knightstown went to be with the Father Saturday, August 23, 2008 in Indianapolis following an extended illness. He was born June 6, 1958 in Lebanon, IN to the late Robert R. and Helen (Saulmon) Bradshaw, Sr.
Robert was a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage where he was a lay leader and played drums for the Praise Band. Robert’s passion was playing the drums but he also enjoyed reading and fishing. He was previously employed by Complete Restoration in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years: Lou Ann Bradshaw of Knightstown; five children: Lisa (husband: Donnie) Smith of Indianapolis; Mandy Bradshaw of Indianapolis; Craig Bradshaw of Knightstown; Elizabeth (husband: Larry Jr.) Lewman of Knightstown; and Alysa Bradshaw of Knightstown; four grandchildren: Triston Melton; Barbara Smith; Draven Smith; and Natalie Lewman; his sister: Cathy Prentice of Lafayette; two brothers: Tony Bradshaw of Indianapolis and Mark (wife: Jennifer) Bradshaw of Charlottesville.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage with Pastor Roger Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
