Ronda “Randy” Lynn Weesner

Ronda “Randy” Lynn Weesner, 64, of New Castle passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Parker Health following a long battle with cancer. She was born on March 30, 1959 in New Castle to Ronald and Joyce (Pence) Thompson.

Randy was known for being a gentle soul and her strong and loving personality. She was a member of the 1977 graduating class at Hagerstown High School. Randy retired in January of 2023 from Keihn/Hitachi Astemo in Greenfield. She was a member of New Testament Church of Christ in Hagerstown. Randy enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Brad Weesner; children, Sarah (Kyle) Hall, Jared (Sophi) Weesner; grandchildren, Jason and Raylynn; mother, Joyce Thompson; siblings, Kathy (Royce) Nicholas, Mary (Bob) Pritchett and Ronald (Donna) Thompson Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and fur baby, Red.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Thompson.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Gearhardt officiating. Burial will follow at Batson Cemetery.
