Rosalind Ann Wilson

Rosalind Ann Wilson, 83, of Springport passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born June 2, 1940 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Isaac Lloyd and Sarah Margaret (Bunner) Hollingsworth.

Rosalind was a 1958 graduate of Mt. Summit High School. On November 2, 1958, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Richard. Rosalind was an accomplished pianist, organist, soloist and taught piano lessons for over 50 years. She was a devout Christian and member of the Memorial Wesleyan Church and previously a member of Springport Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Richard Wilson; daughters, Lorinda Kay Conley and Deborah Lynn Wilson; sister, Carolyn May; brother-in-law, Gary (Dimples) Wilson; sister-in-law, Annabeth Yost; nieces and nephews, Doug (Cynthia) May, Jay (Stephanie) Wilson, Kelly (Kay) Wilson, Brett (Ann Marie) Everhart, Loyann (Don) Miller, Lisa (Joe) Hillman and Rhonda (Jim) Etherington.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Memorial Wesleyan Church, 2701 N. Memorial Drive New Castle, IN 47362. Services will be on Friday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church with Rev. David Siebenaler officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Christian Cemetery in Springport. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
