Shannon Gail Stone

Shannon Gail Stone, 58, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Wildwood Healthcare in Indianapolis. She was born December 26, 1962 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Stewart Clayton and Elizabeth Anne (Johnson) Stone.

She had worked at Sur La Table in Indianapolis and belonged to the Indianapolis Christian Church. Shannon enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces & nephews. She loved the outdoors & enjoyed the beach & taking walks.

Survivors include a sister, Shane (Michael) O’Brien of Indianapolis; nieces & nephews, Kelsie, Ashleigh, Colin & Lennon; aunt, Patty West of New Castle; special cousin, Diane Cotner of New Castle, many other cousins and a special friend, Whitney Chesher of New Castle.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Stewart Shawn Stone; daughter, Tiffany Anne Neal; several aunts, uncles & cousins; paternal grandfather & maternal grandmother.

Services will be 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 17, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Frank Wood officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until time of services Monday. Burial will be at South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Wheeler Mission, P.O. Box 3085, Indianapolis, IN 46206.
