Thomas Browning, 69, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1950 in Rushville a son of James Everett and Mary Alice (Moore) Browning.
Tom was a 1968 graduate of Knightstown High School and worked for Chrysler for 8 years. He earned an Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech and worked for Pickering Farms for several years. Tom retired as a computer programmer from Crane as a civilian contractor. He enjoyed travel, sightseeing and vacationing with his family.
He is survived by a son, Kirby (Kanlaya) Browning; daughter, Alice (Juan) Gonzalez; sisters, Joan Browning, Sue Bearhope and Beth (Andrew)Clark; brother, RD (Christie) Browning; grandchildren, Mathew Silva, Gia Gonzalez, Presley Gonzalez, Katelyn Gonzalez and Grace Browning; sister-in-law, Judy Browning; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Browning.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday. Condolences and memories of Tom may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com .
