Willie G. Rose, Jr., 60 of New Castle passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 along with his wife of 42 years, Wanda Lee Rose. He was born June 1, 1960 in New Castle to Willie Rose, Sr. and Mary Ellen (Sharp) Pierce.
He was employed at Miami Industrial Trucks in Dayton, OH for nearly 21 years. Willie was a board member for Wayne Employees Recreation Park. He was also an ordained minister at Lewisville Lighthouse Ministries. Willie enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his four children, Brandy Hernandez of New Castle, Willie Gene Rose, III (Kim Mosier) of New Castle, Joshua (Candice) Rose of Spring Hill, FL and Chandra (Brandon) Scott of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Chyna Hernandez, Jadelynn Hernandez, Marissa Compton, Lillian Scott, Rozalyn Scott, Delilah Scott, Bailey Rose and Brayden Rose; father, Willie G. (Sue) Rose, Sr. of Burkesville, KY; siblings, Joyce (Ferg) Stevens of Lewisville, Sheila (David) Simpson of Rushville, David (Amy) Rose of Lewisville; step-sister, Kim (Lee) Roberts of Warrington; step-brother, Gary (Sherri) Williams of Carthage; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Bell; nephew, Levi Rose and step mother, Connie B. Rose.
Services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jim Nichols officiating.
