Alan W. Emmons

Alan W. Emmons, 65, of New Castle passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at IU Health Ball Hospital. He was born December 7, 1959 in Washington, Indiana to the late Carl and Mary (Belcher) Emmons.

Alan was a loving, caring person who had a big heart that would help anyone in need. With his quiet demeanor, he always enjoyed playing and watching basketball. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing his guitar and listening to 70’s rock music.

He is survived by his siblings, Norma (Rodger) McGaughy, Darlene Shelton and John Emmons; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his companion, Kayla and a special aunt, Phyllis Sorrell.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Joseph Sr. Emmons; a sister, Linda Denney; nieces, Debbie Marsh and Jeri Dalka; nephews, Jason and Jamie McGaughy and Richard Emmons II.
