Amy Eversole, 55, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 27, 2023 at IU Health Ball Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1968 in New Castle to the late Leran and Geneva (Goble) Vincent.
Amy was a free-spirited soul who never had met a stranger! She was a natural caregiver and would help anyone in need, putting their needs before her own. Amy fought many battles through her life but always lived by faith and conquered them. She was a 1986 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and later worked at Wal Mart for many years as a Supervisor in the Photo Lab. She had a deep love for animals and was a collector of many things including angels, crystals and gnomes. Amy also enjoyed working in her many flower gardens, shopping, especially bargain shopping and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Brad Eversole; son, Brady Eversole; grandchildren, Body and Ruby Valentine; brother, Brent (Lora) Vincent; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Jackie Eversole; brothers-in-law, Brian (Lisa) Eversole and Brett Eversole; best friends, Becca Rust, Michelle Goodwin, Brenda Newman; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Snoopy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and fur babies, Max, Bear and Shadow.
Services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Steve Arnett officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the funeral home.
