Andrew Duane Bennett, son of Curtis Bennett and Molly Rigdon, passed away shortly after birth Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
Andrew is survived by his parents: Curtis Bennett of Shelbyville and Molly Rigdon of Knightstown; half-brother: Landen Palmer; maternal grandparents: Carlos and Beth Rigdon of Knightstown; Paternal Grandparents: Terry and Angela Murray or Shelbyville; aunts: Shawna Rigdon of Knightstown, Cassandra Bennett and Hannah Murray both of Shelbyville; maternal great-grandmother: JoAnn Bridges of Knightstown; paternal great-grandparents: Jerry and Mary Bennett and Robert and Ann Gallamore all of Shelbyville; step great-grandmother: Lorraine Murray of Shelbyville.
Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Jerry Duane Bennett; paternal great-grandfather: Donald Hall Sr.; maternal great-grandfather: Lowell Bridges; maternal great-grandparents: John and Dora Rigdon.
Memorial services will take place 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Knightstown Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Wells officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Riley Children’s Hospital with envelopes available at the church and funeral home.
