Barbara "Bobbie" Sue Johnson

Barbara “Bobbie” Sue Johnson, 80, of New Castle passed away on Friday February 28, 2025, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on November 29, 1944, in New Castle to the late Alonzo and Elizabeth “Davis” Lowe.

Bobbie retired from RCA after many years of service. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Bobbie also enjoyed traveling and camping throughout the years. Her and Kim planned on spending the future years traveling together. She could be found playing bingo, boating, playing games and watching Disney Movies. She loved her Church and listing to music.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Johnson; grandchildren, Samantha (Steve) Turner, Jackson (Kendra) Johnson and Haley Johnson; great grandchildren, Maverick, Isabella, Vayda, Jeralynn and Scarlet; brother, Danny (Lillian) Lowe; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim: Johnson; along with ten brothers and sisters.,

Visitation will be on Saturday March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
