Barbara (Kautz) Sampley

Barbara Ann (Sampley) Kautz, age 69, of New Castle, passed away, Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in Danville, Kentucky. She was born March 17, 1939 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Winford and Helen N. (Neal) Sampley.
She retired in January 2003 after 47 years as a hairdresser. She was a past member of the VFW, Moose and Eagles Lodges.
Survivors include a son: Chad Keith Sexton of Monticello, KY; sister: Phyllis Heck of New Castle, brother: Dan W. (wife: Elizabeth) Sampley of Point South, SC; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son: Anthony Scott Hahn in 1970, her mother and step-father, Helen and Pete Turner.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Danny Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery.
