Barbara Jo Wallace

Barbara Wallace, 75, of Knightstown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Vincent Heart Center. She was born April 11, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Edwin Mitchell and Minnie Allen.
Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Knightstown. She had a true servant’s heart seeking to be Jesus' hands and feet by aiding others. She found joy helping raise her youngest grand-daughter.
She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Jeff) Daniels, Carla Warner, and Edwin (Nancy) Blackwood step-daughter: Andrea Wallace; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two brothers: Jim Mitchell and Ed Mitchell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Wallace; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Knightstown with Pastor Roy Redd officiating.
