Benjamin Charles Noland, 44, of Wilkinson went to be with Jesus Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born August 16, 1980 in Anderson, the son of Charles Noland and Gloria “Jeannie” (Camplin) Jones.
Ben was a 2001 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School. He battled many health issues courageously and won everyone over with his smile. He was his siblings’ biggest fan. He loved watching his brother, David, in sports and his sister, Carrie, in horseback riding. Ben also loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews. He had a special bond with his grandmother, Viola Camplin, and was excited to be able to attend her 100th birthday celebration. He attended Christ Fellowship Church, and had a sweet, caring personality.
Ben is survived by his parents, Charles V. Noland and Gloria "Jeannie" Jones; siblings, Carrie Douglas, David (Kristen) Noland; nieces and nephews, Clara, Cole and Caleb Douglas and Everly Noland; aunts and uncles, Rita Reuter, Marty (Bob) Davis and Tim Maley and several special cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stan and Carolyn Noland; maternal grandparents, Forrest and Viola Camplin; aunt, Mary Maley; uncle, John Reuter and a cousin, Sarah Maley.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their support, love and prayers for Ben over his lifetime. He was the bravest man we know.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Eastern Hancock High School Foundation.
