Beth L. Goble, 74, a resident of Knightstown passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born February 23, 1944 in Greenfield to the late Hugh and Hazel (Bramel) Roberts.
A graduate of Carthage High School, she had worked for several local merchants including Western Auto and Jolly Drug Store. She had also worked as a cook as well as manager for the Knightstown Middle School Cafeteria. Beth was a member of BPW where she was awarded the Outstanding Working Woman Award in 1990. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, couponing, camping and Cub Scouts along with attending her sons sports activities. Beth always loved helping others whenever they were in need.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years: Ivan “John” Goble; two sons: Mike and Marty Goble, both of Knightstown; five grandchildren: Dustin Goble (Amanda), Heather (Jake) Brower, Jacob, Liam and Hazel Goble; three great-grandchildren: Alexis and Lilly Goble and Levi Brower.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jason Matthew and a sister, Judy Richmond.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with Pastors Richard Thayer and Anthony Darling officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in rural Carthage. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 19 at the funeral home. Condolences and memories of Beth may be shared at
