Betty M. Barlow, 89, of New Lisbon passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 16, 1927 in Johnstown, PA to the late Everett and Lillian (Burns) Evans.
A graduate of Kentucky Christian College, Betty also attended Butler University School of Religion for two years. She was a member of the New Lisbon Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent and the missions secretary.
Betty is survived by her four daughters, Pamela (John) Schetgen of New Castle, Deborah Robbins of New Lisbon, Loucinda (Glenn) Davenport of Straughn, Tamara (Bradley) Clark of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Tina (Rob) Thompson of Spiceland, Melissa Neal of New Castle, Ryan Davenport of New Lisbon, Robbie Robbins, Sara (Tony) Lee both of New Castle, Trent Robbins, Trey Robbins, both of New Lisbon, Emma Clark, Fletcher Clark, Anthony Clark, Marissa Clark, Joseph Clark, and Elaina Clark all of Canton, Ohio; great grandchildren, Quentin and Aurora Thompson, Dylan Hunt, Onika Purvis, Alex Neal, Ellie and Gwin Lee; step-grandchildren; Kevin Davenport of New Castle, and Brent Davenport of Remington; sister, Rosemary Custer of Johnstown, PA; sister-in-law, Mary Humphress of Lexington, KY.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Barlow and brothers, Everett Evans Jr., John Evans and sister, Ruth Tyner.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at New Lisbon Christian Church with Ken Tyner and Pastor Mark Lomison officiating. Burial will follow at New Lisbon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
