Betty Black, 91, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Heritage House in New Castle. She was born October 12, 1928 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Bob and Lula (Logan) Rayburn.
She was employed at various restaurants and helped care for the elderly. Betty was a member of Knightstown Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, traveling and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Judy) Stone of Dunreith, daughter, Brenda Kay (Ronnie) Fultz of Spiceland; six grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly) Wayne of New Castle, James Ryan Fultz of Spiceland, Bobby Stone of Madison, Angie (Jim) Tingle of North Vernon, Brandon Stone of North Carolina and Beth Stone of North Carolina; step granddaughter, Michelle Vaughn of New Castle; 15 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her previous husbands, James Earl Stone, John Ellison and Virl Black; eleven brothers & sisters; a son, Philip Ray Stone and a grandson, Ronald Earl Fultz.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with Pastors Elwood Evans and Eric Boling officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020 at Stone Cemetery near, Vanceburg, Kentucky.
