Betty J. Huber, age 67, passed away on April 8, 2011 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on January 5, 1944 in Maysville, Kentucky to Claude and Pearl (Wilson) Roseberry.
Betty enjoyed illustrating and writing children’s books and also wrote a couple of novels. She had a very creative mind and was a very gifted artist. Betty’s grandchildren were her world and she also loved her two cats.
Survivors include her children: Lisa (husband: Kevin) Orr of New Castle; Malissa (companion: Phil Jones) Huber of New Castle; Andy Huber of New Castle; grandchildren: Justin Orr of Greenfield and Aimee Smith of New Castle; sister: Bernice (husband: Gene) Tester of Flemingsburg, KY; best friend: Barbara Maze of New Castle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Elsie McRoberts, Allie Protsko, Christine Tesmer, Norma Parker, Wayne Roseberry; also four infant brothers and one infant sister; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery – West Lawn Addition.
