Betty J. Martin, 89, of Middletown passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at her residence. She was born November 5, 1933 in Pendleton to the late Barton T. and Lottie P. (Wagner) McCune.
Betty was a proud farmer’s wife and enjoyed working around the farm. She loved cooking and baking and also enjoyed playing Bridge and Euchre with friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons and dog, Cody.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Steve (Mitzi) Martin of Middletown; two grandsons, Cole and Logan Martin, both of Middletown; a sister, Rosalie McKee and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, H. Tom Martin; sisters, Lenora McCarty, Virginia Horner, Edna Nibarger and a brother, Albert McCune.
Services will be private and burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Middletown. Memorial contributions may be given to the Henry County Humane Society, 11 Midway Dr., New Castle, IN, 47362.
