Betty B. Wells, 77, of Knightstown, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born November 9, 1935 in New Castle the daughter of Paul and Vina (Tipton) Roland.
A longtime resident of Knightstown, she was a member of the Dunreith Baptist Church where she was baptized. Betty had worked at Harlan Sprague Daley in Cumberland where she retired in 1999. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters: Tina Gorman, Robin Swickard Tarr and Lori Parker all of Indianapolis, Brenda Smith of Davis, CA; a son: Bruce Rudicil of Modoc; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three sisters: Carolyn (Richard) Harding of Knightstown, Mardella (Myron) Trowbridge of Birmingham, AL and Joyce (Michael) Pearson of Greenfield; a brother: Richard (Mary Katherine) Roland of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, a son and a grandson.
Services will be at 4:00 PM Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Richard Roland officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 PM prior to the service. You may express a condolence or share a memory of Betty at www.hinsey-brown.com .
