Bobby L. Bell

Bobby L. Bell, age 72, of New Castle, passed away Monday, January 19, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 20, 1941 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Carlos and Ruby (Stringer) Bell.

He retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1999 after 30 years of service. He was a member of UAW #371 and a former member of Rose City Breakers. He enjoyed farming, playing Bingo, sitting on his front porch talking with his neighbors. Bobby especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Dale (Betty) Bell of New Castle, Donnie Bell of New Castle, Diana (John) Minton of Ruskin, FL, Darryl Bell of New Castle, Darla Bell of Ruskin, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer (Lucas) Hamm, Siara Bell and Matthew Bell all of New Castle, Dustin (Emily) Bell of Austin, TX, Ashley (Derreck) Reagan, Brandon Bell, and Tyler Bell, all of New Castle, Ryan (Rebecca) Conley and Andrew (Amanda) Conley all of Ruskin, FL, Bethann Bell, Samantha (Matthew) Martin and Hollie Bell all of New Castle, Bobby Bell of New Castle; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Fay Jessee of New Castle and Linda (Gene) Miers of Spiceland; one brother, Jim (Debbie) Bell of New Castle; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Bell of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Bell in 2007; a son, David Bell, a brother, Ray Bell, a sister, Martha Curry and a granddaughter, Rachal Bell.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Reverend Elwood Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens.
