Brian D. Denney

Brian Denney, age 39, of New Castle passed away surrounded by his family on October 8, 2024 at IU Health Methodist Hospital following a long battle with cancer. He was born June 8, 1985 in Somerset, Kentucky to Tim and Robbin (Weston) Denney.

Brian was a jokester and enjoyed making others laugh. Family was everything to Brian, he loved them more than anything else. Brian had a passion for trucking and had a goal of owning and operating his own trucking company until his illness didn’t allow him to. He always remained positive through his battle with cancer and made the best of every situation. He enjoyed R/C trucks and airplanes and in his earlier years, riding motorcycles. He especially loved his cat, “Little Girl”. On May 4, 2024, Brian made the choice to get baptized and gave his heart to the Lord.

Brian is survived by his wife of 12 years, Diane (Fallon) Denney; children, Madison Denney, Mackenzie Johnson, Alexis Ellis; parents, Tim and Robbin Denney; sister, Jennifer (Ron) Cadle; grandchildren, Hadley and Mylah; nephew, Nathon Cadle; paternal grandfather, Eugene Denney; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Jennifer Fallon; sister-in-law, Ashley (Ryan) Russell and many close friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Berniece Denney and Russell and Joan Weston.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with his father, Pastor Tim Denney, officiating. Burial will follow at Mooreland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Those attending the service are requested to dress casually.
