Brooklynn Dawn Morris, infant daughter of Lucas and Erika (DeFoe) Morris, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at St. Vincent Women’s Health Center in Indianapolis. She was born December 4, 2010 in Indianapolis.
Although Brooklyn’s life was very short in our estimation, she was one of God’s miracles.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Lucas and Erika (DeFoe) Morris of Noblesville; maternal grandparents, Lois and Jerry Swinford of Noblesville and James and Lisa DeFoe of Arcadia; paternal grandparents, Rev. Randal and Tonya Morris of Shirley; maternal great grandfathers, Billy DeFoe of Noblesville and Hobert Bell of Sheridan; paternal great grandparents, Rev. Oddos and Adalene Morris of Winchester, and Mildred Chambers of Oneida, TN; aunts and uncles including, Racheal and Ryan Barnes and their sons Gabriel and Gideon Stephen and Christy Morris of Travelers Rest, SC and their son, Samuel, Chris Morris of Shirley and Avery Morris of Greenfield, Nikki and Alex Mellinger of Noblesville, Ashley DeFoe of Noblesville, Kelsey Swinford of Noblesville, Brittany Ellingwood of Anderson and Michael DeFoe of Arcadia; several great aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Kennard Baptist Church with the Reverends Oddos and Randal Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Losantville. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be given to the Brooklynn Dawn Morris Memorial Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home and church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hinsey-brown.com .
