Bruce Allen Baugh, age 54, of Springport, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Henry County Hospital. He was born July 29, 1956 in Henry County, Indiana to Eugene and Doretta Baugh.

Bruce had been employed by Chrysler Corporation for the past 27 years. He was a loving husband, good father, and grandfather who worshiped his children and grandchildren. Bruce was an avid NASCAR and Colts football fan, he also loved to fish.

Survivors include his mother, Doretta Baugh of New Castle; his wife of 20 years, Jane Baugh of Springport; children, Amanda Baugh (fiancé, Thomas Harper) of Yorktown, Matthew Baugh of Yorktown, Phillip Baty (companion, Stacey) of Springport, Valerie (husband, Jamie) Rhodes of Hagerstown, Chelsea Baugh of Springport, Cody Baugh of Springport; grandchildren, Mason and Blake Rhodes of Hagerstown, Kayden, and Alexis Baugh of Yorktown, Brayden and Bryson Baty both of Springport; two step grandchildren, Dylan and Devin Fleetwood of Springport; brothers, Bobby (wife, Jennifer) Baugh of IN, Danny (wife, Robin) Baugh of New Castle, Jerry (wife, Jean) Baugh of Leesburg, Roger (wife, Teresa) Baugh of New Palestine and Mark (wife, Christina) Baugh of Lakeland, FL; father and mother-in-law, Euell and Freda Bowling of Springport; brothers-in-law, Randy (wife, Candy) Bowling of Mooreland and Brian (wife, Lisa) Bowling of Uniondale; sister-in-law, Brenda Stephens (companion, Mark Sowers) of Middletown; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Baugh in 1984.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Springport Woodlawn Christian Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.hinsey-brown.com .
