Bruce E. Trieschman, Sr., 64, of Spiceland, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born February 17, 1949 in New Castle a son of the late Victor and Oshie (Flowers) Trieschman.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Bruce served in the Vietman War. He retired from the Henry County Highway Department after many years of service.
He is survived by four sons: Bruce E. Trieschman, Jr. of Ft. Wayne, Tony W. Trieschman of Spiceland, Matt S. Trieschman of New Castle, and Bryan K. (Angela) Trieschman of Mt. Summit; grandchildren: Michael, Emily, Brandon, Cheyenne, Alyssa, Joshua, Carmella and Leah Trieschman; two sisters: Cathy Trieschman of McCordsville, and Nancy (Eddie) Houchins of Spiceland; a brother: Jerry (Judy) Ellis of Spiceland; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Trieschman in 2009; a daughter-in-law: Debbie Trieschman; a step-father: Dale Ellis; and a brother: John Trieschman.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown with Reverend Jim Nichols officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Knightstown American Legion Post 152.
