C. Madeline Madison

C. Madeline Madison, 85, of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at The Waters of Muncie. She was born October 10, 1930 in New Castle to the late Arthur and Georgia Sutherland.

In 1948, Madeline married her high school sweetheart, H. Dale Madison. She enjoyed playing her organ, fishing, camping, baking, and crocheting. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Dale L. Madison of Ft. Lauderdale and Tim R. (Jamie) Madison of Muncie; grandchildren, Jonathon Dale (Miranda) Madison of Mooreland, Wendy (Geoff) Barber of New Castle, Jeremy R. (Jennifer) Madison of Terre Haute, Ryan D. Madison of Muncie and Jaelyn Madison of Muncie; great grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Grace, and Lauren Madison all of Mooreland, Brynn and Ali Barber both of New Castle and Hoyt and Ruby J. Madison both of Terre Haute; and a brother Arthur Sutherland of New Castle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Dale Madison; a daughter, Connie Sue Madison; a brother, Lindel Sutherland and two sisters, Emogene Padgett and Mary Bell Olsen.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
