C. Louise Marlow

C. Lousie Guffey Marlow, age 45, formerly of New Castle, passed away January 5, 2012, in Bradenton, Florida following an extended illness. She was born August 12, 1966, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Lonzo and Lou Tildie (Delk) Guffey.

A homemaker, Louise loved cooking and spending time with her family. A good hearted woman, she always thought of her children first, and just enjoyed being a “mom”.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jesse Marlow Sr. of Bradenton, FL; two sons, Jonathan Latham of New Castle and Vince Baesman of Mooreland; her step-mother, Anna Guffey of New Castle; one step-son, Tim Marlow, both of Farmland; three sisters, Myrtie Foster and Peggy Griffin, both of Albany, KY, and Teresa Clark of Middletown; five brothers, Jerry Guffey of Westfield, Donald Guffey of New Castle, Jim Guffey of New Castle, Jeff Guffey of New Castle, and David Guffey of Pendleton; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonzo and Lou Tildie Guffey; two sons, Daniel Robert Baesman in 1994 and Lonzo Cole Guffey in 1998; step-son, Jesse Marlow Jr.; brothers, Chester Guffey, Doyle Guffey, Lonnie Guffey and Steve Guffey; sisters, Joyce Fay Cross, Brenda Mead, and Patricia Gay Brown.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given the charity of the donor’s choice.
