C. Sue Michael, 68, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Heritage House Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 31, 1948 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Harlan and Inez (Raines) Asberry.
Sue was a caregiver for many people over the years, caring for them in their homes. She loved her grandchildren, and would do everything she could for them.
Survivors include her husband, Randy D. Michael of Muncie, a daughter, Sabrina (Randy) Sidwell of Spiceland, two sons, Jeffrey “Scott” Mikel, and Steven Mikel, both of New Castle; four grandchildren, Ryan (Kim) Sidwell, Tyler (Chelsea) Sidwell both of New Castle, Kelsey Mikel and Mitchell Mikel, both of Somerset, KY; a great granddaughter, Raegan Spurgin-Sidwell; a brother, Harlan J. Asberry of New Castle; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Mikel; brothers, David and Dusty Asberry; nephews, Ray and Tony Asberry.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Summit Cemetery. You may share a memory or express condolences of Sue at www.hinsey-brown.com .
